Elke portie bevat 35–45 mg cafeïne, afhankelijk van de variant. Dat is ongeveer de helft van een normale kop koffie. Voor Decaf gebruiken we dezelfde Colombiaanse arabica bonen, maar dan vrijwel volledig cafeïnevrij gemaakt.

We gebruiken uitsluitend 100% Colombiaanse arabica koffie. De bonen worden zorgvuldig geselecteerd en gevriesdroogd om hun volle smaak en aroma optimaal te behouden. In tegenstelling tot veel eiwitkoffies die gebruikmaken van standaard oploskoffie of aroma’s, krijg je bij ons echte koffie in elke scoop.

Vriesdrogen is de meest zuivere manier om koffie te bewaren. In plaats van hoge temperaturen wordt het water voorzichtig verwijderd, terwijl de smaak en het aroma behouden blijven. Het resultaat: een veel rijkere, zachtere koffiesmaak dan bij standaard oploskoffie, zonder verbrande of bittere tonen.

De meeste whey komt van koeien die het grootste deel van hun leven binnen staan en worden gevoerd met granen. Onze whey komt uit Nieuw-Zeeland, waar de koeien minstens 350 dagen per jaar buiten grazen, met een dieet van minimaal 96% gras. Deze manier van boeren zorgt niet alleen voor een zuiverder, eiwitrijker product, maar ook voor een veel beter dierenwelzijn.

Lactase is een enzym dat lactose, de natuurlijke suiker in melk, afbreekt tot eenvoudigere suikers. Sommige mensen maken zelf niet genoeg lactase aan, vaak zonder dat ze het weten, wat het moeilijker kan maken om zuivelproducten te verteren.
